10 Home Remedies For Guys That Aren't Too "Crunchy"


1.       Headaches – Mix a drop of lavender essential oil with a carrier oil (coconut, almond, etc.) and rub the mixture on the temples gently in circular motions.
2.       Insomnia – Put a sachet of dried lavender between your pillow and pillowcase. Lavender has sedative and relaxing properties.
3.       Nausea – Eat a small amount of bland foods, such as toast, rice or clear soup.
4.       Indigestion – Sip a small amount of club soda.
5.       Constipation – Slip turmeric into anything; yogurt, baked potatoes, a sandwich, etc.
6.       Inflamed Joints – Massage with oils. Mix 100% therapeutic grade essential oils (eucalyptus, lavender, thyme) with a carrier oil and gently massage the affected area.
 7.       Cuts & Scrapes – Honey has natural antibacterial properties. Dab a little on the wound and cover with a Band-Aid, or just let the honey dry to form a protective coating.
8.       Bruises – Soak a tea bag in cold water, wring out the excess and apply to soothe the bruise.

10.   Blisters – Add a drop or two of lavender essential oils to a cup of cold water. Saturate a cloth, wring out any excess moisture, and apply it to the blister for a few minutes. Repeat several times a day.
